Photo Books are done and ordered!

So, snapfish had its daily savings (35% off 8x11 photo books) So, I jumped on the chance to get them today. I had to finish them and they are ordered. I'm really hoping they turn out okay.

This year we decided to pick names for the family again. We have a $15.00 limit. Gary takes 2 kids and I take 2 kids shopping. Its neat to see what they pick out. I do love the shopping. (I just love shopping for anything) Now looking up stuff online to get the kids. NO TOYS! Our basement looks like it got hit by a toy bomb already!

Photo books!!!!!

I'm such a dumba$$. I keep starting over with this stupid photo book for Christmas. Why you ask.... Let me start by saying that I did all this work on one photo book and realized it was the wrong type of book. So, I've decided to start over again.... Also I have all these AMAZING photos and I can't pick just one. I have a ton from trips to Connecticut and South Carolina. Its really hard to pick just some when they are all great photos. Then you look at the cost for these damn things!!! HOLY CRAP! I get 6 books and this is going to be a hefty penny! *sigh*

Dammmnnnn Photo Books!!!

Back to Blogging

WOW so much has happened to me since I last blogged. Life is very crazy. I still stay home with Lily and TJ. Abigail goes to Pre K and she loves it. Emma is in 2nd grade. I can't believe how big my baby is getting.

The two older girls are doing dance. They also did fall soccer and are planning to do soccer in the spring. It was really neat because I was the assistant coach for Emma's team. I actually really liked it so, decided to coach Abigail's team in the spring. Crazy I know but it gives me something.

Things have been up and down. Gary decided to take classes this fall. (plus working a full time job) Its been a little difficult. I'm definitely doing my best but sometimes I feel guilty because I don't feel like I'm doing enough. Gary has also had some hiccups with jobs. He got a new job, left the old one and realized that he was more stressed at the new job so, thank goodness his old job wasn't take and they were able to take him back.

I've also decided to look for a part time job. I'm hoping to find something I can do from home....

Starting up my blog again

I know its been a long time since I blogged and thought I would start up again. It took me awhile to remember my password. Sad I know.....

Let's see where to begin. Well, since last blogging I've had 2 kids. Lily was born on 7/11/2008 and than 4 months later..... SURPRISE I'm pregnant again with number 4. Funny thing, Gary and I hadn't even talked about number 4. Shit we hadn't even gotten settled with number 3.

So, here we go.. I have a lot to blog about.

LONG time

Wow- Its been a while since I blogged. Where to begin. Well, I had Lily on July 11! She's 5 months now. I can't believe how big they get! I went back to work. Its definitely hard to work and have 3 kids. I'm not sure how I do it.

Emma is in Kindergarten and loves it. I can't believe how big she is. Abby is getting big also. She talks up a storm. Other than that.. Life is just moving along.

I still love my job. I think I like it more since I work for an association who is an advocate for kids. :-)

33 weeks

Wow this pregnancy has flown by. I've scheduled my c-section for August 1, 2008. (hopefully in the am) Funny thing is that on that day Gary will be celebrating his 34 birthday in a hospital with his new daughter. I'm thinking cake would be a good thing to have there. :)

This picture is from Father's Day. I'm HUGE! I definitely have the waddle going on....

This picture was taking at the Waterfront Festival in Alexandria. I don't even look pregnant... :) Of course Abs is blocking the belly but still. It was nice until it started raining. We had fun! Emma was loving the rides. I just sat on the blanket with Abby and watched balloons float by. Going to the Waterfront Festival is one of things I did growing up. So, I try and go every year. Plus its for a good cause. The Red Cross! And they have some kick ass bands.

It was a nice weekend! :)

Mother's day

The day started off like any day in my house. Me arguing with Emma about her clothes. Then I realize I sound like my mom. I got the girls these two cute dresses. I wanted them to wear them. Well, Emma was cool with that part but she wanted to wear this striped sweater... Not my finest mommy moment. But at the end I let her go out with this sweater. I just need to remember that she's old enough to get dress on her own and that she can pick out her own clothes. This is very evident when I pick her up from school in the afternoon. Not sure what the girl will be wearing. I just smile and give her a big hug! (I'm turning into my mom) YIKES! I want her to have a mind of her own and wear what she wants. She's totally girlie. Loves the skirts, dresses, lip gloss, nail polish, purses.... etc.... I'm SOOOO toasted when she gets bigger!

Anyway, back to mommy day events. Gar made reservations for 9:30 a.m. for brunch at Fireside Grill at Lorton Station. We went there last year and it was good. (or at least I thought it was) We got there and we got seated near the door. Which annoyed me. We waited for like 1o-15 minutes for a waiter, which was okay. So, I got up to get some fruit for the girls. Well, I got the fruit and in the middle of the restaurant I slipped and fell. Well, 2 staff people came to help me up. Here I am on my ass in the middle of the restaurant with people staring at me. I got back to the table and told Gary what happened. He said it was the shoes.. I was like no, I slipped on a wet spot. Well, Gary gets up to get the girls food and breaks 2 plates. I'm sitting with the girls waiting to see if a manager is going to come by to see if I was okay or if a waiter was going to get our drink order. NOTHING.............. (still waiting)

Finally, our waiter comes up. He gets our drink orders and it takes him about 10 minutes to give us our drinks. The food was okay. Every time I got up to get something to eat I was walking really slow and cautiously. Still no one from management came to see if I was okay or anything. (Maybe I'm just overly concerned that they should be concerned you know. Here you have this pregnant lady who slips in your restaurant and NO ONE comes over to check to see how you were) and people saw it because 2 people helped me up. So, we pay the check and leave.

When we got home I took a nap... (Which I totally needed) I was keeping a eye on the baby to see the movement and how much movement. My lower back was killing me from the fall. So, the more I thought about it that night... The more and more pissed I got.

So, Monday I decided I was going to call the restaurant to let them know that what happened. And to let them know that I think their staff should have handled this a little differently. So, I did.. I called and spoke with a manager (who really pissed me off even more) I told her what happened and that I think her staff needs to be a little more aware of what happened. You have this pregnant woman who falls and no one from management comes over to see if I was okay or anything. NO RESPONSE or that the staff didn't get a manager immediately. It wasn't like I was in the back corner of the restaurant it was in the middle of the f**king thing. I told her that I WILL NEVER COME BACK THERE because of this experience. I don't think she knew what to say to me. I know I should have said something there but at the same time I feel like that the staff should have been MORE on it... can you say lawsuit.. Not that I would but dang people! She told me that the general manager will be in on Friday and talk to the everyone about it. I was like fine whatever.

So, am I wrong to think they should have reacted differently?
